New Owner Observation 700 89

Having driven my new/old 89 turbo wagon for a couple of days, an observation about what these cars can do. I am impressed with the ability to cruise along at the speed limit and at any time just blow by anyone. After driving a Subaru 16V Legacy for years that could move along but only after a lot of work to get there. This TW just plain gets there with little effort, smooth and fast. It is so effortless that I find myself amazed at how quick these cars get up to speed. At 197K, this car drives better then anything I have ever owned. When the big rig or monster suv that weighs 10 million lbs strats to ride the bumper, it gives a great deal of satisfaction to simply step on the pedal ever so lightly and just blow them away. Tanks Volvo! Glad to be part of the team.
