My Car:

1978 244DL, B21F, M41

My problem:

My car will not run well.

While parked and revving the car in neutral the engine revs well and sounds normal.

In reverse the car runs well.

While driving in 1rst and second the car jolts while accelerating like it is at a loss of gas. It runs ok at lower rpms but whenever accelerating jolting accrues every 2 to 3 seconds.

I have been through tree and a half mechanics each telling me something different.

The first mechanic tested my fuel line and reported at full pressure. The last told me that they had tested the fuel pump as bad. Not much sense is made of this.

Things That I have replaced:

Spark Plugs/ Wires

Fuel Pump

Fuel Filter

Fuel Pump Relay
