Ignition switch 700 90

My ignition switch is getting hard to turn. Sometimes it will stick in start position with the expected loud results. I have tried spraying lubrcant into the lock cylinder, but I think the problem lies somewhere else. Is there an easy way to get at this assembley without taking the car all apart??
