Struts/Shocks for Lowered 240? 200 1992

Hey,

Was wondering if anyone can advise me about correct struts and shocks to use with a slightly lowered (1") 244.

Do you need special strut/shock units with a lowered car? Will standard units work (I'm planning on Bilstein)? If standard units will work, are there any disadvantages to using them?
