780 Climate Control 700 1989

After converting my 1989 780 to V8, I am now getting the climate control on line. Prior to pulling the oringinal engine (B230FT), I'm not sure the a/c worked. I bought the car in winter and pulled the engine shortly after.

To get to the point, I need the 12v from the grn/yel wire which feeds thru the a/c pressure switch to power the a/c compressor clutch.

I've been unsucessful in getting the 12v at this lead so far.

I have a Chiltons manual which shows the system components and thier power sources. I do not know the locations of these components...Where are the following?...

ECC Power Unit/Ecc Solenoids/ECC Control Unit.

There is a red lead which comes off of the ECC Control Unit (pin 20) and goes to the altenator. Would anyone know which connector and pin this lead is on the Volvo harness (engine compartment side)?

Any troubleshooting tips or experiences are appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Steve
