A/C fan motor 700 1990

Is the A/C electric fan motor that sits in front of the radiator, 12 volts?

How can you test it to see if it is good. What activates the motor? Where is a good source for replacement if it is defective? If it is 12 volts, is there a positive and a negative side? Can it be rebuilt?
