Removing a 5 gear box from a 740 700 90

I'm trying to remove the gear box from my 740 because I have to replace the clutch and I'm stuck. I took off all the bolts around the clutch, the transmossion and the box support. The whole thing moves but the gear stick is blocking the box from moving back. How can I take off the gear stick?.

Also, I would like to know if I can put a lighter flyweel on a B230.
