Electric Fan Rewiring 700 1987

Thanks for your suggestions, but I have decided to find my own way. I have connected the positive lead of the fan to the valve switch on the A/C compressor, so whenever the air conditioning is switched on the fan will continuously run. The negative was connected to the chassis, and I also added a 5amp 3AG fuse to the positive lead. Is there any potential damage possible with this setup?
