Fuel tank vacuum. 200 86

The 240 seems to generate a vacuum in the fuel rank that I notice when unscrewing the fill cap. My dads Benz does the same thing. My 740 does not. Is there a clogged vent or something that should be cleared? Is there supposed to be a vacuum?
