charging r12 900 91

i have a '91 940 gle (16v) and the ac has been very good (fast cooling and strong even in a hot day) for the past 10 years, now the ac does not cool the cabin as did last year..... but it's ok, i don't want to spend the mney converting to r-134 yet ($325 parts/labor), i have access to a couple cans of r-12 ($30/can), i need help identifying what hose i suppose to charge the r-12, i know i should charge on the low pressure side - the bigger hose, need help identifying the correct hose...........TIA
