Symptoms of presenting complaint:Temp gauge moves jerkingly last few weeks from low to middle and never past middle.Now stays all the time in lowest temp mark,ie all the way to left.

Past History:thermostat never acted right from start.At first,suffered cold car in winter.The advent of internet and Brickboard led to better understanding of car.Changed thermostats twice, warm car in winter but each time the stat worked one - two yrs if this time it's the stat again.

So Coolant gurus,diagnosis please.

Change stat again,last time I broke the stud or

change temp sender

or fish around for loose contacts in the temp compensation board.The fuel gauge works fine though.
