DEE-LUCKS Ten Step Oil Flush Procedure, step 8b

Spring came, grass is green to lie in when changing oil... infected with Paul Seminara's enthusiasm I flushed the old engine oil.

For your other 2 guys out there with too little foresight, let me tell you that step 8b should be "slide the pan full of old (drained) oil away from the oil pan's drain BEFORE blowing compressed air into the oil filler above."

As is so often said here: Ask me how I know. :-)

OTOH, The new oil was so *clear* in the engine that I had to look twice on the dipstick to make sure it was there!
