Best Source for New Radiator 700 1988

The upper plastic radiator neck, of my 1988 Volvo Turbo Wagon, broke off.

It still has approximately 3/4 of an inch left -- enough to get the hose back on. Since it broke off, is the radiator due to be replaced? If a replacement is required, who would be the best source to obtain one. Should I switch to metal?
