740 (1990) Chip update F.Y.I. 700 1990

Below is a recent message from Jahn...he is the guy with a chip for the 740T. *This updates info. previously posted.

Hello TT

Okey, i will translate the information and send it to you as soon as

possible.

Hehe, you'll have to ask your wife very nice then, so we don't get in

trouble.

The chip can be sensitive to ping, but i have never had any problem with

that. To be sure you can disconnect the battery before you release the ECU,

or at least wait 1 minute after turning of the ignition. Then you should

have no problem.

The turbopressure is adjusted to maximum 0.95Bar, i'm not sure how many

pounds that are.

I hope for your sake that tires are cheap in the USA.
