Rust around windshield trim 700 1987

Rust started to show up around windshield trim. The metal trim and rubber don't stick to body of the car like before. At some places it is completely separeted and that's probably how water got inside under metal trim. Besides this could be a reason why floor on drivers side get wet on rainy day. Now I have to fix it as soon as possible and I would appreciate if any of you can share your own experience with this problem.
