After getting filthy replacing the timing gear on my 164
I've decided to clean the motor so that future motor work
would be cleaner. A couple of cans of gunk and a car wash
squirting thing later, my motor is pretty clean.
I noticed that there is oil weeping out of the block in
several places, including the fuel pump and the oil dipstick.
The thing that worries me most is that there is a tiny
amount of oil leaking out from the union between the block
and the head in a couple of places. It is only a tiny
amount, but it is enough to notice. Also, I'm pretty sure
that it is weeping from the head to block union and not
dripping from the valve cover onto the block.
Should I worry about this?
