Steering pump leaking after replacement 700 87

Hello board,

I replaced my power steering pump about a week ago, now its leaking.

Its leaking right at the junction where the o-ring seal is.

I torqued it pretty good when I put it on, but the fitting came loose. Now when I torqued it, it leaks.

So now I need a new o-ring. Does anyone have any tips are tricks that will insure a leak free connection?
