I have heard of people keeping their vehicle's tire pressure different in the front than from the rear. Is this done because of the vehicle's weight distribution, or because of the drive axle type, i.e., front wheel drive v. rear wheel drive?
Our 91, 740 has 54% front weight and a 46% rear weight. It is rear wheel drive. The recommended tire pressure is min 28 max 36. I keep it at 32 all around, but now question this. Which would get the 32 psi based, front or rear, and would I then just add or subtract the 4% difference?
Sincerely,
Robert
