Determining Rear Brake Caliper Piston Size 700 1987

I want to rebuild the rear ATE calipers on my '87 744. Try as I might, I cannot make out the piston size stamped onto the caliper. The '3' is clear but I can't tell if the second digit is '6' or '8'. Is there any way to determine the piston diameter from a data plate or other method? Thanks much.
