fuel gauge 900 95

Here's a strange one. I recently replaced the air mass meter and the oxygen sensor to fix a poor performance problem and the fuel gauge, which hasn't worked for over a year despite numerous attempts at repair, suddenly works perfectly.

Is this just a coincidence?
