recently while cleaning the car, i removed the grill to shine it and noticed the snorkle that connects to the airbox. i had noticed it sticking up and the hole pointed towards the radiator and noticed that since hotter weather has gotten here (atlanta) the temp gauge was resistering hotter than in winter (obviuos huh??.) anyway, i flipped it so that it is pointing down and the hole facing to the front. it is located in the scoop in the front valance (???) under the bumper. my anticipation was to get a little more air and maybe cooler air into the box and possibly improve mileage/performance slightly. other than keeping a close eye on deep water crossings and the bug goo out of it, am i hurting anything??
thanks...
