transmission woes 900 1994

has anyone had any problems w/940 auto trans, non turbo. mine started acting funny about shifting and now it has quit pulling altogether when it is warm, (reverse or forward). i let it cool and got it to drive a little but it was jerky and rough. tranny also seems to be making a whining noise when it is in gear. it is a 1994 model, just turned 100K
