PBR Deluxe pads in with my already used ATe 200 1985Ti

Atomic grooved rotors. All is well. I spent last evening and part of this AM breaking (braking?) in the new PBR Deluxe pads. The car stops fine. I only did a little fade test this AM and they seem pretty good.

Here's the deal: As you may or may not know I was running the ATe groovy rotors with Ferodo pads for about 40,000 miles. Stopping was awesome but EXTREMELY dusty. The old Ferodo pads DO have some life on them, but I want to save them for later, because they are NLA. I stuck in some PBR Deluxe.

After some recent postings (slow break in and terrible fade) I was a tad nervous about the ATe, PBR combo. I had used PBR Deluxe before with plain rotors and they seemed to work fine. Well the PBR's broke in silently and perfectly.

Here's a weird observation: The composition of the new PBR Deluxe pads SEEM different in color and feel than the PBR Deluxe composition in the past.......
