Our 1990 740 with auto trans seems to have some kind of serious friction going on somewhere in the driveline. When cruising at highway speeds, if I remove my foot from the gas pedal, the car seems to begin to slow more quickly than most other cars I've driven, including our 1989 740 equipped with auto transmission. Almost as if the brakes were being very lightly applied. (yes, I've checked the wheels & brakes & emergency brake)
The car's due for a transmission flush 'n' fill real soon. I wanted to see if anybody else had any other ideas on this.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
