Again, today's my day to pick everyone's brain on all of the nagging little projects that I have to complete on my 1987 760-Turbo.
And now for my third question... My left-rear end is sagging (no, I've already heard that joke) and I am guessing it's the dreaded Nivomat problem, as I have 204,000 miles on the chassis, and I don't think any of the previous owners ever replaced the rear shocks. So what are all of the options? If I get the Nivomats - or their equivalent - should I automatically replace the springs as well? Are any of the alternatives that convert the rear to a standard spring/shock setup really that good? What is the ride and/or handling differences between all of the different replacement scenarios? Thanks guys!
