Exhaust system, replace with turbo? 200 1986

Can you advise me whether or not this makes sense? My 1986 244GL has need of a new rear muffler and probably other exhaust parts. I found in a boneyard a 1984 242 B23FT with a large diameter cat back system intact, no front resonator. Looks like 2-1/4" or more. What would the result be of putting that on my staid 244GL. Sound?? Power?? Wasted bux??

TIA, and I await advice from you guys with turbo experience.
