Hi, can anyone please let me know what is the name and function of the this part:-

Part's brand: Hella

part's number: 50F-005-445-02

This part is found where the ECU for cruise control will normally be fixed(above the hood release on the sidewall). But the car that I saw with this part (at the junkyard) is not fitted with cruise control. Not ever pre-wired for cruise. I compared with mine any mine has the same socket and the same wires with same colour MINUS the part I have listed above. PLEASE HELP !!!!

Any idea what this part is and whether I should get this part and install it in my car.
