Valvoline for old cars 200 82

I heard that Valvoline has come out with a new motor oil called "Max Life". It is supposed to be good for high mileage cars. It claims to have extra ingredients to prevent leaks & condition aging seals. Is this just a gimmick or a genuine product? I have been using Quaker State in my car since I bought it 10 years ago & have 138K miles. Does QuakerState have an equivalent?
