i was down at the u pull it yard today..puttin some letterin on a 4x4 mud bog racer...well since i was there i took a stroll..didnt need anything in particular(best time to go there) i walked up on a totally straight, no rust, 82 dl..so i started to look it over...drivers door was stuck so had to open back door to open front door, looked at the speedo..HOLY S*** 56,000 miles on this car.....mostly intact....iam gona go back and get the front seats(light brown tweed, see thru head rests)$10.95 each, and put them in my 74 chevy step van.....may take speedo head also....and i need the black box that sits on right fender well, can always use the vacume pod....even if the number dont match my 84. i think the engine would go for $129.00 no warrenty.....its $200 somethin with warrenty.. talked to the guy at the yard...and asked why such a low milage car was in the yard...he said the owner said it quit runnin and they bought it for $100....and started to part it out..where was i when that deal went down....
