changing injectors 200 1984

My mechanic tells me I need to change my injectors as part of the solution for a rough running engine (turbo). Any hints for dealing with the fuel lines, as I don't want to damage them? Does this change sound like good advice? They may even be the originals; I'm certain they have the last 70,000 miles on them, and have been cleaned.
