Purchase a Volvo 1992 960? 900 1992

I am thinking about purchasing a 1992 Volvo 960. It has only 109,000.

The person selling the car has his price at $5795. Is this car a reliable car for the money? I have a 87 740 Volvo and it has lasted me for a while. What is the best offer I should make for this car?

Any responses are greatly appreciated.
