940 Turbo protesting on acceleration... 900 93

I'm driving a 940 turbo 93 automatic model and all the while quite happy with the performance. However lately my car tend to ping..(engine appear to protest with certain pingging sound)whenever I tried to have a harder acceleration between 80 to 100 km/h.This normally happened during a hot sunny day at about 30 - 35 deg centgrade. I experienced a better accleration in the morning.

Any body could enlighten me on how the rectify the problem.
