Just bought my first brick. 700 1989

So, I just picked up my first Volvo- an '89 744 GL 5 speed with 102,000 miles and all books and records since new. One owner vehicle. Needless to say, it's in beautiful shape. I've got a couple little questions about it, though.

1) Can the center console cover (and its cupholders) from a 940 be mounted to the console/armrest? Has anyone found a good source for these, new or used? I checked Volvoworld.com and their prices seemed a bit on the high side.

2) Could you recommend a good lubricant for a squeaky clutch pedal? Where should it be applied?
