Belt replacement 200 88

I have heard the noise from my water pump for more than a month (initially, I thought it was from belt because I did not see any leak). Then last week, I removed all belts and found 2 of the 3 alternator bushings went bad (shrinkage). The alternator could be moved up and down using my hand. I have successfully (not easily) replaced 2 bushings and 4 belts (2 Napa 25-7365 belts for alternator, 1 Napa 25-9385 for AC, 1 Napa 7340 for PS).

When I installed new belts, I experienced a difficulty to put alternator and AC belts on. For alternator’s belts, I push alternator all the up and hardly put new belts on the pulley (felt like o.5 inch short). The same thing happened to AC belt (I have removed two bolts from the bottom bushings).

Does anyone experience the same problem?

Angel
