Evaporative Fuel Recovery Problem? 200 89

There is no pressure when I remove the gas cap, and sometimes there is more than a faint smell of gas around the car. I assume there are some issues with the evap fuel recovery. The tubes around the canister seem secure, but beyond that I'm not sure what to look for or where to look for it. Car runs fine (well, a bit rough at idle, injector seals and other work/investigations are up next, but all the vacuum lines seem to be conected up fine).

I've been bring this car up to snuff lately (89 245, 106k miles)- flame trap, cam cover gasket, heater box thermostat etc done. This forum has been a great resource. Thanks for any advice
