ac climate control shifting to defrost under boost 700 1991

I've got a '91 740T wagon. Under acceleration/boost ac vent controls dump to the defrost. I have replaced the single check valve at engine compartment/firewall and the rubber diaphram inside the car. Still no results. Suggestions on next direction would be appreciated.
