Horn and SRS light 900 1993

Posted a few weeks ago regarding the horn not functioning on the '93 940 wagon. During the process of removing the air bag to get to the horn buttons, I accidently disconnected the orange colored wire on the air bag with the battery connected. As a result, the SRS light became on whenever the car was running.

As it turned out, the problem with the horn was the contact on the horn buttons. Once ther are cleaned, horn starts working again.

I followed the instruction posted in the archive for resetting SRS light for an 850. Even though the two diagnosis connectors are not near the headlight (they were near the power steering fluid reservoir on the driver side strut housing), the descriptions seem similar enough, so I gave it a try.

Connected the test connector from module A to pin B-5. With the ignition switch on, I pressed the test button on A. Got the 2-1-2 sequence. Presses the button again and got the same sequence again. According to the instructions, I pressed the button again and held it for 5-7 seconds. Got a steady light. Repeated the sequence again. Supposedly the SRS light is now reset. But it was not. What did I do wrong?

Advice is appreciated.
