Shuddering - what the? 200 88

Just bought an 88 240, 114k on it. Runs great but when I go from a stop position there is some shuddering that feels near the rear. I owned a 122S that needed a drivetrain support bearing and this is further back than that and not a clunking but rather a shuddering. Any ideas?
