waterbed on wheels 200 88

Just bought an 88 240 with 114k on it. Engine runs great but it drives like a waterbed, rolling and bouncing. I owned a 122 and this is much worse. ANy suggestions on improving the ride? Is it endemic to the 240 or just bad shocks? If so, what should I do? Shocks, anti-sway bars, etc? I don't have a lot of money to throw at this. What is the simplest, least expensive way to get a simple, firm, direct ride?
