Sensor in water pump 700

further to previous message, it appears that I have a B280 engine.

Can anyone therefor tell me whether the sensor in the water pump is the temperature sensor or the thermal time switch ( and should it be mounted in the LHS or RHS ). Also does anyone have resistance readings for these ?
