Progressive vs. linear springs 200 82Ti

I am looking at getting a set of progressive springs for my 242Ti, which wont lower it much.

I was wondering what the disadvantages and advantages of progressive and linear rate springs are.

Friend said that progressive would be more unpredictable in corners.

I dont know if I agree with that fully.

It would make the ride better I would assume

thanks

take care
