Should I take my 740 to Peru? 700 1991

At some point our everlasting 740 will be ready to retire with us. The car is so good we would never give it up. We are seriously considering retiring to Peru 1/2 time, and would like a car to drive down there.!

I was thinking about servicing it to a farethee well, then removing the catalytic converter, (not required in Peru!) then driving it to Miami and shipping it to Lima (About $1300 in a 20 foot container)

Parts and service a problem down there? Or simply obtain them on the internet? I have seen one or two 740s there, not many of them. Seen also some 122s and 544s there also.

The car will have about 200k, no more than that, when it goes. We think it would last forever. It has Borbet type E wheels and looks and runs perfectly. Has been well kept since new.

Any thoughts by anyone?
