780 coupe: w/ manual tranny? 700

I'm shopping for a 780 coupe. Was the 780 available from the factory w/ manual tranny (stock or special order)? Will the 780 accept a conversion from a/t to manual? Will it accept the typical Ford V-8 & 5-speed conversion, same as the 240 cars? I like the 780 coupe but would prefer a manual tranny car. Thanks for any info.
