Those are possibly two of the worst sounds a person wants to hear when starting their car. Unfortunately I hear these problems fairly frequently. Every once in a while I'll hear the squeal, which sounds like a bearing goe bad, but only for a second, then it goes away. I'm hoping this is not turbo-related. As for the ticking, I hear that everytime I start it up. It's a pretty faint, tick-tick-tick, about twice a second. Anybody know what this is? Thanks.
