Missing Engine Part/Information for a 1980 262C Bertone 200 1980

Sorry. I posted this in the wrong place,Introductions, earlier.

I live in South-Central Pennsylvania and I just purchased a 1980 Bertone and am searching for either parts or recommendations for replacement of the engine. I'm also searching for general information about these vehicles.

The car was in the process of having some engine work accomplished when the owner passed away. My brother-in-law bought it at an Estate sale a year ago, but he doesn't know too much about anything other than Chevrolets.

Anyway, the air filter was not with the car and I need a replacement or recommended substitute. The manufacturers book is all marked up on the B27F pages and according to everything I find the engine should actually be a B28F. So, it looks like the owner may have put the wrong valve springs and other parts into the engine. The adjustments are definitely not to the B28F specs.

The engine is clean and has not been run since it was worked on. The only number I could find was on a plate in front of the oil filter. Is there a cross reference available for the engine number? The first two pages are missing from my copy of the manufacturers manual. I would like to verify the guy didn't just buy a rebuilt or used B27F and put it into the car.

Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated.
