What exactly are e-code headlights, and where do i get them in australia???? 700 1988

Hey all,

I've heard that "e-code" headlights are very good, i am seriously interested, the more light the better, half the roads i drive on at night have neither gutters or streetlights, which makes it damned hard to see, and with all those kangaroos we have bouncing in our back yards :o) hehe. Well, i wanna know if anyone has installed them, direct bolt in fit? Are they different lenses? Reflectors? I currently have "bosch" "volvo" one piece comibined high/low head light things.....I've seen the ones on a 940, with the foglight as well, looks interesting, but there's alot of work to change over, and besides, wrecked volvos in sydney are harder to find than the street signs in sydney....(there's not enough street signs, and if they are there, they're in the wrong spot)....

Could someone help me please?? Thanks aall
