Hesitation/miss? 200 81

My car has developed a small hesitation/miss if I am putting the car under load going up a hill? I can accelerate as hard as I want on a flat surface, and notice nothing. But if I maintain a high RPM, and try and accelerate more while going up a hill, the car has a minor hesitiation or miss? The tach does not drop at all when it happens, and the car will still go, but just feels odd. It's hard to explain, but anyone with any thoughts, would be much appreciated. Thanks
