rear keeps sliding out 200 1989

Yesterday, it was a rainy day and I took a corner a little quick and the rear of my car slid out behind me. I thought this was only because of the water, but then later in the day, when it was dry, the 240 slid again. Could this be because of my tires, or would it have something to do with the shocks? Any help would be great.
