In my daughter's 1984 240, the car has stalling problems and hesitating problems when the weather becomes hot/humid. The engine seems like it is searching to get fuel and will stall either when accelarating or when stopping. I believe there are 2 fuel pumps in the car (the regular one and a prepump). I pulled the fuse for the prepump while the car was running, but it didn't stop the car from running. I take it this means the prepump is shot and needs to replace. Could this be the source of the stalling problems?
