Oil Cooler Leak 700 90

El Rojo Grande is leaking quite a bit of oil, and it seems to be coming out of the oil cooler. (It is dripping down under the engine and gettin all the way to the exhaust pipe). I have tightened the fittings as much as I dare, but still am losing oil. I priced a new cooler at $160 (IPD, I think), but before I plunge into that expense, I would like some advice. I was thinking of diconnecting the oil lines and reseating them with some kind of sealant, Rectorseal or something (advice on proper sealant appreciated). I gueess I am just a bit doubtful that this thing with no moving parts, and nothing corrosive in it, woud develop a leak. Anyone have a thought on how to verify that this thing is the source of the leak?
